EVAC - PETZL EXO
The EVAC bag is a modular transport and deployment bag for the PETZL EXO and enables escape / rescue or access in urban areas.
The innards of the bag can be pulled out of the outer cover in a split second and offers space for a PETZL EXO descender including a 15m rope.
After the EXO has been attached, the inlet can be thrown out of the window to unroll the rope. Alternatively, the inlet can also be attached to the abseiling device on the pull tab of the lid and then fulfills the function of a rope bag from which the rope unrolls when abseiling.
Under the inlet there is a storage compartment for our MGS leg loops (not included), so in an emergency everything is contained in the bag to be able to leave the building up to the third / fourth floor via the rope.
The EXO is a personal rescue system with an easy-to-use EASHOOK carabiner. The descender is already pre-installed on the rope and is therefore ready for use in seconds.
The EXO has a self-braking system to quickly pay out rope, control and stop the descent, and reduce the impact in the event of a fall. The open deflection point ensures that the rope is guided during abseiling and enables the rope to be released for ascent on the rope over a short distance.
The EXO EASHOOK also includes an abrasion- and temperature-resistant rope, an Am'D connector with a CAPTIV positioning bracket.
The outer shell of the bag is made of 500D Cordura with 500D Cordura laminate trimming with PALS + (Molle) for carrying further equipment. On the back there are fastening straps with which the bag can be attached to Molle straps or a belt. A strap made of webbing can also be used to hang the bag with a carabiner on the equipment, or to attach it e.g. to a wardrobe.
The inlet is also made of 500D Cordura with plastic reinforcement. A patch area is attached to the lid of the bag.
