Leg loops MGS (modular belt system)
In Combination with the MGS leg loops, the Jed Belt MGS and Jed Belt MGS stiffened can be upgraded to a seat belt according to EN12277-C in a matter of seconds and do not have to be fiddled with a rope loop or the like.
To install the leg loops, the belt has to be opened and the rope loop pushed onto it, then the two 25mm Cobra buckles on the thighs are closed so that the belt can be put on quickly even when the leg pockets are full and the size only has to be adjusted once.
On the back of the leg loops there are suspenders that prevent slipping while walking; these are attached directly to the belt with the quick-release adapters supplied or, e. g. in the Molle system of a modular belt.
The leg loops have a 6mm thick padding to allow a certain comfort even with compact dimensions, in the rear area the 25mm webbing fanned out to a width of approx. 45mm and supports the load transfer.
The leg loops come in a universal length and have a fair adjustment range. The excess lengths for adjustment are sewn twice, so you can grip them safely even with gloves and the supplied rubber loops fix them securely to the belt.
The leg loops are certified in the following combinations: Stiffened in combination with our Jed Belt MGS or Jed Belt MGS: EN12277 Type C seat belt In combination with our chest harness MGS EN12277 TYPE A complete harness AND EN361 full body harness If the belt is worn in a modular belt in one of the cases, the EN358 as a holding belt is also achieved.
