Thermal binoculars Pulsar Merger LRF XQ35
The Merger LRF XQ35 is as compact as classic day binoculars and ideal for hide hunting. As the lightest instrument in the series, the Merger LRF XQ35 is also suitable for stalking and driven hunts.
Thanks to its balanced weight distribution, these binoculars fit comfortably in your hand and allow you to observe comfortably and without tiring, even from uncomfortable positions.
The LRF thermal imaging binoculars from Merger have the classic design of daylight binoculars. With its small form factor, these thermal imaging binoculars fit comfortably in your hand while still offering a pleasing external aesthetic and exemplary ergonomics. The six function keys are in the easy access zone and the most frequently used digital device functions can be activated with a single touch.
The Merger LRF XQ35 is equipped with the highly sensitive European-made Lynred sensor < 25 mK NETD, which captures a high-quality signal even under difficult observation conditions when the thermal image contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences are clearly visible in rain, fog and high humidity at the observation site.
Observation in the dark requires dimming of all light sources so that animals being hunted are not startled by them. The "Screen off" function in standby mode is a common method to prevent light leakage from the screen illumination from the eyepieces. To simplify this task, Merger LRF has a built-in distance sensor. It serves as a screen switch to prevent light leakage from the screen when it is dark. When the device is taken away from the eyes, the distance sensor turns off both screens, and when the device is brought closer, both screens are turned on and offer excellent picture quality.
Merger LRF is designed for consistent, often tough use. The magnesium alloy body is light and strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from bumps, falls, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, a metal housing effectively dissipates heat from the electronics and increases durability in functioning during long-term observations.
Correct estimation of the distance to the target object is an essential factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer enables distance measurements in single measurement and continuous measurement mode with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for a quick and error-free assessment of the situation.
The Merger LRF is powered by two rechargeable batteries: one built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah, the other removable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A single charge guarantees a long operating time. Stamping on the outside of the replaceable battery to pinpoint the correct position allows you to quickly and safely replace an empty battery with a new one by palpation in complete darkness.
The germanium lens F35/1.0 offers high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. Thanks to the high-precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image produced by the sensor of the Merger LRF XQ35 thermal imager is characterized by its clarity and detail.
