Plate carrier pad set

This product is a pad set for padding individual areas of the plate carrier to make it more comfortable to wear. In the military sector, a distinction is made between different layers of equipment, with the plate carrier being part of the second layer of equipment. This is used by various units of the military, the police and special forces such as the SEK or MEK. The plate carriers belonging to the ballistic protective equipment serve the safety of the wearer by inserting bulletproof plates. In addition, the plate carrier can be easily expanded and thus also serves to organize things that are constantly required, such as a radio or magazine holder. Thanks to the modular design of the plate carrier, it can be optimally adapted to the requirements of the carrier. Nevertheless, plate carriers are often very uncomfortable, which is why sufficient padding is necessary.

Features of the plate carrier pad set

The cushions are fastened with VELCRO® Brand fasteners, as these can be attached quickly and safely. It is important to note at this point the compatibility of the upholstery with the plate carriers. The product is provided with a sewn-on VELCRO® Brand Hook® and is therefore only suitable for use with plate carriers that contain a fleece surface.

The pad set is designed to pad individual parts of the plate carrier and thus offers the wearer optimal comfort. The design of the individual cushions in 3D Mash creates a certain distance between the plate carrier and the person and allows the air to circulate optimally between them. The wearing comfort is increased not only by the better padding of the plate carrier, but also by the better evaporation of sweat with a simultaneous cooling effect. This is particularly important when carrying the plate carrier at higher temperatures.
