Tradition and modernity don't have to be mutually exclusive, as we prove with our quickly adjustable, hunting strap in a modern design. The torsion-resistant, 43 mm wide padding of the carrying strap consists of selected cowhide from the local leather dealer on the outside. The hides for our leather straps are handpicked and marked and cut using the latest laser technology. The inside consists of a special, structured anti-slip rubber made in Germany, which ensures a secure fit during the hunt. A refinement of the edges of the padding with an edging and the discreetly colored seams on the colored straps also make the carrying strap a real eye-catcher.
Shoulder straps with maximum flexibility and combinability
The straps have a width of 25 mm and correspond to current Bundeswehr TL standards. This guarantees maximum compatibility and flexibility when using the high-quality carrying straps. In order to be additionally flexible, no carabiners are sewn on. The sling can therefore be attached directly to the sling swivel eyes or accommodate optional accessories such as quick disconnects, carabiners or QD Swievel.
Carrying strap – ideal for every use
Thanks to the quick adjustment, the rifle can be stowed on the back and brought back into position in fractions of a second. The carrying strap is therefore equally suitable for the hide as well as for stalking and driven hunts.
To shorten the carrying strap, simply pull on the handle. To loosen, simply pull on the orange parachute line. The rifle can be carried on the back in the classic way or diagonally and can therefore no longer slip off the shoulder. Even when working or recovering, the rifle stays securely on your back.
On the perch, the sling can then be pulled flat against the rifle so as not to get in the way. If the weapon is placed, it also ensures the right surface thanks to the anti-slip rubber. The sliding rubber strap can be used to stow away the resulting excess length.
The straps at md-textil.info are mostly handmade, all work steps take place in our own studio in southern Germany and are characterized by extreme precision and high quality.
An orange cord is installed ex works, but we supply a replacement cord in a muted color that matches the strap. So you get exactly the right carrying strap according to your taste and to your requirements.
Generation 3 sling improvements
The popular first generation of carrying straps was already showing success. However, constant optimization of our products has already produced the second generation of carrying straps. Compared to the first and second generation, we have changed the following points in the GEN III:
• The quick adjustment, this was still made of metal and US production in the versions GEN I and GEN II. We now use a plastic part that we developed ourselves and have it manufactured in Germany. The new quick adjustment is lighter, quieter, more ergonomic and above all MORE STABLE than the metal version!
The metal adjustment had a breaking load of around 120kg, which we were able to increase by 17% to 140kg with the plastic part!
