Integrated precision rangefinder
The integrated precision laser rangefinder provides accurate distance measurement in two modes - single measurement and scan mode with an accuracy of ± 1 m to a distance of 1 km. Accurate distance measurements enables a quick determination of size, distance and relief design of the area.
Highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor
The Axion XQ 384 x 288 @ 17 μm thermal imaging sensor with NETD 40 mK ensures perfect detail detection even in the harshest weather conditions with low thermal contrast. The smallest temperature differences are clearly visible in rain, fog or in the cold morning under the most difficult conditions for thermal imaging equipment.
Lightweight and robust magnesium alloy housing
The housing made of a lightweight magnesium alloy ensures high dimensional strength and robustness. The light weight of the monocular telescope makes it a perfect option for long outdoor trips when a lightweight and powerful device is required.
Detection range up to over 1350 meters
A powerful F38/1.2 objective lens combined with a highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor with 384 x 288 @ 17 μm offers exceptional detection capabilities. A 1.8 m high standard object can be detected in complete darkness at a distance of up to 1350 m.
Image Boost Technology
Pulsar's proprietary Image Boost technology consisting software algorithms designed to improve image sharpness and overall image detail. Image Boost results in a sharper, more detailed field of view and improved object identification capabilities.
3 seconds start time
Thanks to the pioneering technology, the Axion can be switched on almost immediately. Fast start extends battery life and extends overall uptime. Due to the immediate commissioning, the device can be activated quickly when every second counts.
IPX7 Full waterproofness
IPX7 Full waterproofness to protect against heavy rains, snow or other precipitation. The device is designed to work flawlessly for up to 30 minutes even after immersion in water up to 1 meter deep.
HD AMOLED full-color display
The new HD display offers a clear, high-contrast and colorful field of view. AMOLED technology ensures error-free, stable, high-resolution images and energy savings.
The 8-color palette improves display in various conditions. While the classic White Hot mode is exceptionally versatile, Hot Black is often preferred for night time wildlife detection. Red monochrome reduces or prevents bright backlighting from exiting the eyepiece. Sepia often improves remote viewing, while Red Hot, Rainbow, and Ultramarine improve the temperature differences of various object attributes. Purple helps identify objects faster.
B-Pack mini APS5 battery system
The high-capacity quick-change Li-Ion battery offers an operating time of 5 hours on a single charge. Quick and easy battery change in combination with immediate activation guarantee continuous and error-free observation. A normal power bank connected via a USB Type-C port can be used as an external power source.
Variable digital zoom from 3.5x to 14x
The up to 4x digital zoom offers improved focus and better general object recognition at considerable distances. The zoom changes either step by step in 2-fold steps or continuously in order to obtain a really optimal, individual field of view for the respective situation.
The image optimization should be carried out depending on the location and the environmental conditions. Mountains, cities and forests have different ambient temperatures. In order to achieve the highest possible image quality, certain settings have been optimized and combined in profiles. This makes optimized imaging under different conditions easier. The identification preset is another option for optimal imaging that makes identification easier even over long distances
Picture-in-picture shows an enlarged image in a frame 10% of the field of view in the upper display field in order to zoom in on the observation object more precisely.
