ACCOLADE thermal imaging binoculars
Thermal imaging technology with maximum ease of use The operating range of Accolade thermal imaging binoculars includes professional and semi-professional applications, including hunting, scouting and rescue operations. Hunters looking for game in the forest; Hiking enthusiasts who want to protect their camping site at night; Security guards in search of suspects; Civil defense officers in search of survivors or missing persons; - The Accolade offers the right function for all applications.
Unparalleled thermal sensitivity <25 mK NETD
The thermal image sensor with NETD <25 mK ensures perfect detail recognition even under the toughest weather conditions with low thermal contrast. The smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible to thermal imaging cameras in rain and fog or on cold mornings under the most difficult conditions.
Integrated laser rangefinder
Integrated high-precision laser rangefinder works in two measurement modes: single measurement and scanning. Scanning mode allows the user to adapt to rapidly changing shooting distances in order to fire a shot precisely.
Ideal for continuous observation
The binocular view minimizes eye fatigue during long-term observation and gives a natural picture. The human brain is set up to receive visual information from two channels synchronously. If one eye is used for observation, the brain only receives information from one channel. This leads to fatigue more quickly.
Great discovery distance
Discovery of distant objects is one of the most important considerations for using these optical devices outdoors. High quality optics together with the best thermal image sensor offer you the longest possible range.
Adjustable exit pupil distance
The adjustment of the distance between the exit pupils enables the user to adjust the optics individually. The exit pupil distance differs depending on the person. This setting increases the comfort of observation and excludes double imaging.
Built-in video recorder
The built-in video recorder is a wonderful option that enables photo and video recording in online mode. Just press the REC button, take a video and send it to your colleagues, friends or relatives.
Completely waterproof IPX7
Rain, snow and moisture will not cause problems for the device thanks to the IPX7 water protection. The IPX7 water rating means that these devices can withstand extremely harsh weather conditions, including 1 meter submersion for 30 minutes.
High resolution thermal image sensor 640x480
The high resolution of 640x480 pixels guarantees a highly detailed image of the objects. As a result, small objects such as branches, leaves, body parts of the animals are displayed as sharply and clearly as possible against the background.
Quickly exchangeable, rechargeable battery packs with a long service life
The innovative quick-change fastener enables the battery to be replaced quickly and easily. External rechargeable Pulsar IPS5 batteries guarantee the device 9 hours of continuous operation in Wi-Fi mode.
Color palettes
The eight-color color palette facilitates observation of all kinds under certain circumstances. The classic mode “White Hot” is universal, “Hot Black” is often used for target discovery at night. "Red monochrome" helps to minimize or avoid side exposure from the open eyepiece. "Sepia" mode is particularly suitable for observing objects that are far away, while the "Red Hot", "Rainbow" and "Ultramarine" modes mark the temperature differences between the object parts. The "Violet" mode is intended for faster object discovery.
Stepless and gradual digital zoom
Gradual zoom is an important option when you want to zoom in on the subject quickly. If time is not short and the object needs to be inspected more closely, the stepless zoom is ideal.
High frame rate 50 Hz
A high frame rate is particularly important when shooting moving targets. This allows the speed of the target object to be assessed more precisely and to shoot more precisely.
"Picture-in-picture" mode
In picture-in-picture mode, the observer gets a second image of the central field, so the target object can be viewed in detail without losing the entire field of view.
Effective temperature stabilization of the sensor
The cooling fins on the housing of the device protect the sensor and other components from overheating and significantly reduce temperature sensitivity, especially between calibrations.
Observation modes
The image optimization should take place according to the environmental conditions. Mountains, cities and forests have different temperatures. Certain settings have been optimized and are offered as profiles in order to achieve the highest image quality. The identification preset is another option for image optimization, which makes identification easier even over long distances.
Calibration mode:
A thermal image sensor needs a non-uniformity correction (NUC) at times. The calibration minimizes or deletes excess signals and improves the image quality. Accolade offers 3 calibration modes: automatic, semi-automatic and manual. With automatic calibration, the aperture and closes the calibration takes place automatically at certain intervals without the involvement of the user. In semi-automatic mode, the shutter closes, for calibration and the user only needs to press a special button. In manual mode, the shutter remains open, the user decides when to calibrate want to perform.
Manual adjustment of contrast and brightness
Contrast and brightness can be individually adjusted manually as required. All settings are saved and can easily be changed if necessary.
Integrated Wi-Fi module
The observation devices have long been more than just optics. Today the devices are designed as multi-purpose devices in order to be able to meet several applications. Functioning as a hot spot, the device connects to your smartphone or tablet, and your smartphone becomes, for example, the remote control of your Accolade.
Video broadcast in online mode
The connection of the device with the smartphone or tablet enables the user to stream videos directly to YouTube in online mode.
Frost-resistant AMOLED display
The device has been designed to function properly in all weather and temperature conditions. Even when it's freezing cold or stiflingly hot, contrast and vivid colors remain at a high level without losing any frame rate. The high-contrast and large AMOLED display ensures a high-quality image in all weather conditions thanks to the latest technologies.
Updatable firmware
Thanks to the Stream Vision software, you will always be offered the latest firmware.
External power supply
The Accolade is powered by external power supply devices such as power banks via a micro-USB socket. So you can operate your device even in extremely cold weather and protect it from rapid discharge.
Power saving function
If the observation is to be stopped briefly, the user can activate the power saving function of the display. This function prevents the user from being unmasked by the residual light from the eyepiece, even between observing approaches and restarting. (The display remains switched off, while all other systems continue to function. To activate the device, one only needs to switch on the display).
